Abstract Introduction Myofascial pain syndrome is a local disorder characterised by pathological myofascial constrictions and trigger points. One of the most popular sources internet-based information for patients YouTube, which provides lot videos related to syndrome, making it one top clinical conditions searched on site. This study aimed examine quality YouTube video content syndrome. Method was designed as cross-sectional used sharing website main source data. A search relevant performed entering words “myofascial syndrome” in June 2021. Video characteristics were recorded, assessed according Journal American Medical Association (JAMA) benchmark criteria, DISCERN Scale Global Quality Scale. Results total 322 evaluated, 186 subjected analysis after applying inclusion/exclusion criteria. The categorised into groups, with 10 (5.4%) falling high-quality group, 16 (8.6%) intermediate 160 (86%) low-quality group. findings from showed that videos, highest number likes views while group had lowest popularity level, (p ? 0.05). Conclusions Although there are offering guidance about disease, important keep mind inaccurate deficient disease may also be present this platform.
